Champagne Shootout II
The second installment of the Champagne Shootout was held at Mount Prospect Golf Course on a cool, rainy May 11th, 2019. A newly revamped format saw a more professional approach to the competition as the field expanded from 12 to 16 shooters. The rain did nothing to dampen Team Blue’s spirits as they ran riot over Team Gray by the score of 9-5.
Before we Shoot, we always Salute
Oh say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
